I have a 06 cr125 and after christmas i put a fmf fatty pipe, silencer, a phat head, and v-force reeds when in about 4th or 5th gear full throttle it seems to be sputturing i was wondering what should i do
If the carb has never benn into the float should be set right but if it's not and is set to low the bowl will run outa fuel because it can keep up with the demand. Ceck the carb for trash that might be clogging one of the jets, if the carb is clean you can use your air adjustment screw to check your jetting. Idle the bike up to about 1200 rpms, maybe an 1/8th trottle, run the air screw in and out at1/4 of an inch increments untill you get to a point where it idles it's highest. If you have to run the screw out over the recomended setting you have to go smaller with jetting and vise versa if you go in to get the optimal idle. If it's running out I would start by going in. Cuting air will rich up the system, adding air will lean it. Do a search here for jetting links.
