Ok guys I know that this is a bike site but I bought my son an 86 LT 50for $150. It needed a new back tube and thats about it. It starts on the first or second pull everytime. The problem is that there is very little bottom thru mid range power but of course like any 2 stroke when it gets to the top end it rips. Then after the thing is warmed up, it does not want to idle and stalls constantly. I have put a new plug in it and cleaned the air filter and have played the 2 screws on the carb game. After the initial bog in the bottom end the motor makes really good power. I think an JR and LT are the same engines so any tips will help alot! Thanks Guys
