Just Bought 2000 YZ250

Hi, I just bought a 2000 Yamaha YZ250 used and the guy had a RTT steering damper that came with the bike and I would like to put it on but will cost about $110 to get it on so I don't want to waste money and it does not do anything. I do a lot of field riding, very little trails and a little bit of motocross. Can anyone tell me if I should get this RTT steering damper put on my bike?

I dont use the steering much on my 2000 yz the front wheel is hardly ever on the ground :nener: honestly. But my buddie has a steering dampener on his crf450 and he says it doesnt feel much different than without id say it isnt really worth it.

I dont see how your bike is always off the ground unless you weigh like 50 pounds I weigh 150 and I keep it on the ground with no problem and I did a lot of research on this steering damper and I got one of the best ones because I can turn it on when I want and turn it off when I want so I am going to put it on and then let you guys know what it feels like.

I meant that the bike is so powerful that im almost always doing a wheelie it was kind of a joke.
