KDX 200 Fuel Consumption

Hi
I would appreciate any help I can get. I have just got a KDX200 SR and my mates who ride 4 strokes tell me I will need to carry spare petrol as 2 strokes use heaps of gas. How many miles to the gallon could I expect trail riding (not racing). This bike is stock.
