I know the 220 is stronger down low. I hear the 200 is smoother and has more top end. Is that true? Also, how does the KDX200 compare to a 125 MX bike down low? I'm ready to buy one- Thanks! JCW

Fantastic information- Thanks a million!
I've got a new 03' 200 and it looks like a Gnarly Pipe & maybe a 12 tooth sprocket for starters.

Congrats on the new bike!!!you'll love it! The pipe really wakes it up(as you read).

Some advice for you though, dont't change the front sprocket. If you wanna change the gearing change the back to a 50..... Changing the front sprocket is ok for testing out the gearing (it's cheaper, obviously), but will put a lot of stress on the sprockets & chain (this will wear out the drive train a lot quicker).

Have fun!

Thanks. I'll do the back sprocket & get a new chain. I'll keep the old chain and sprocket as back-ups.
