kdx 2005 changes?

After searching hours online, I couldnt find a good review on the 2005 kdx200 or 220r. So this is why you great people are here, could you tell me if there was any new changes to the KDX from 04 to 05 except the BNG(bold new graphics, which i think arent as good as the 04). Any help is kool :nod:

I was just looking at the specs of both 2004 and 2005 kdx 200 and everythings the same.

Part numbers for the KDX-200 04 and 05 seats are different on buyKawasaki. My 05 has a "gripper" cover on the seat. I have heard the 04 did not. Someone else can verify this.

hey its only a seat, when the things have inverted forks or something.. that will make the world of a difference.

My o5 KDX220R has a gripper seat also. Helps hold my skinny ass to the seat as well as dirt :boss:

Yea but how much is a gripper seat 40 bucks? and how much could u save buying a 2004? vs 2005?

35 bucks for the gripper cover on ****. Close to $200 for the seat through Kawasaki

plus i thought the 04 graphics had like a thick plastic protecter on them, and from what ive seen it doesnt look the 05's do. Is this true?

My 05 KDX220 has thick graphics. At least they look that way :aj:

My 04's graphics were pretty thin...rubbed through 'em with my knee after the first ride.

Actually I looked at mine & there not that thick. Has anyone tried Ski Skins to place on the frame area where your boots rub against?
