Hi. Is it possible to fit a KDX 250 91-93 cylinder and piston at a KMX 125/200 engine. Are there problems? How much HP has a KDX 250?

If the KMX is similar to a KX125 it would not work very well. The trouble is that the studs that hold the cylinder to the engine cases are much closer together on the 125 than the 250. You would also have problmes if the 125 is a case reed engine and the 250 is a cylinder reed engine.

A KX250 from the early 1990's has ~41hp at the rear wheel. Don't know about the KDX, but it would be less due to mild porting and exhaust.

Yes the engine is a little bit similar to the kx 125 ´86. but the reed valve is direct into the cylinder not in the engine. I think it´s the same by the kdx 250 cylinder. next tim I will buy a Seal for the bottom of the cylinder. If he fits than I have a 50% chance that it might run. another problem is the pipe the pipe at the kmx is sloping. the pipe at the kdx is at he middle. I hope you understand what I mean???
