KDX 250 Gas Tank Fitment Question.

This is my first post and I am still getting used to the site and the wealth on information on here. I have done a couple of searches but have not been able to find the info yet as there are a bunch of pages to search through.

I bought my first bike and am very happy with it so far. It is a '93 KDX 250. I can't wait to start working on it and doing some of the upgrades that are outlined in the forum. Unfortunately the gas tank has a large enough crack in it that gas is leaking out :-( My friend told me about the ole JB-Weld technique, but I have found some used tanks on ebay that look quite affordable. I was wondering if the 1990 KX gas tank would fit my 1993 KDX 250. Thanks in advance for your help :)

Radiator shrouds won't interchange, different shape on tank so you would have to change them as well but I don't think the KX shrouds are long enough for your radiators. Then of course their's the seat etc. If you can buy a decent tank you'd be crazy to mess around with bandaids.
