I was wondering if an ignitor from a 200 will work on a 250. My 1993 KDX250's ignitor fried last week and I am having trouble finding a used one. Is there any other model or year I can use? Any info would be great. Thanks! :)
Any liquid cooled KDX250 CDI should work. I'd expect there would be some KX250 CDIs that would work as well. What year KX is the liquid cooled KDX250 based on, a 91? If that were the case I wouldn't be surprised if KX CDIs from the same era will work as well. I'd check buykawasaki.com and have a look at the parts diagrams and see if any KX/KDX250 CDI part numbers cross over.
