KDX kick starter problem

I have a kdx 200 1985 and when ever I kick it works fine but it with tend to come out and want to be at the bottom by the peg does any body know what is going on am I catching another gear?

Are you saying that the kick lever does not come back up, but stays at the bottom? I am not sure what your post means.

yes it does that plus when you rev it goes down as well when in gear or not even Idleing it does that.

sounds like you need to take off the side engine cover and inspect all the gearing and spring that makes up the kickstarter. I had one not returning after a engine rebuild and that was simply in need of oil on the gears, fixed by laying the bike on its side to get tranny oil on the gears. Your issue sound more serious when the lever wants to move with the engine reving.
