I replaced the headlight on my kdx with a number plate , is there any drawback to leaving the lighting coil on ( if it is removable)
besides its weight . It wont cause any drag if there arent any lights attached to it correct ?
Strictly speaking, it will. I very much doubt you'd notice it.
BTW, changing to an aftermarket coil (more watts) is considered to be a perfomance enhancement. It improves the spark.
No, I don't know why. I did notice it to be so on my bike...and that was before I heard the same thing said to be so by folks knowledgeable in such things.
