I have just purchased a 98 RMX250 just to see what they are like. When pulling the exhaust off and looking through the exhaust opening I noticed that the powervalve was in the open position, ie it was pulled back. When I operated the activating rod lever manually it actually closed it, ie slid it out blocking off part of the top of the port. Strangely enough this is the exact opposite of my KDX. Can anyone explain?
