KDX200 Engine Swap - 1987 for 1984

I have a seized 1987 KDX200 engine and have found a 1984 to replace. Can I drop a 1984 KDX200 engine into a 1987 KDX200 frame? I would also like to mate the 1987 exhaust and carb/air box to this engine, do you see any problems with the mounting of these items or with jetting of the carb?

I dont know about mounting but the 87 has kips valves. a much better motor than the 84
