Kdx200 Kickstart Help

Hey,
I have a 1992 KDX. The kickstart arm aways swings out when i ride. It swings out very easy when i ride. I took it off and the little ball is still there but the screw does not push the ball out it falls back into the kickstart. Help me so it doesnt go through my leg when i fall off.

What??? You mean you don't feel like being impaled by the hockey stick flopping around on your bike either?!?! I had the same exact problem with mine. Do a search on kickstarts in this forum and you should find some pretty good info.

I bought the FRP kickstart for about $60.00 and had to buy a new kickstart knuckle (the thing that holds the kickstart to the kickstart shaft) for $40.00. A hundred bucks is a ton for a kickstart, but worth it in my case. I was afraid about the through the leg part myself!!
