I run what ever is running that weekend. I've done MX,SX, Hare Scrambles, Enduros, with my 01 200.
It's not a Mxer, keep that in mind and use it's strong suits and you can have a blast. Pray for a loose track or snotty or muddy and you'll have a blast. It's got all the usual mods that Tech Tips on it and it wiorks well for this 44 year old guy!

i think a kdx200/220 with a little hop up coudl win the 250 beginner motocross. That's what i plan to prove this year.
I havent rode one with the stiffer forks or special gearing,,

**But for all you guys who have done some light, basic jumping,, do i really need a mx bike AND a kdx? Would a kdx with stiffer forks rode at beginner level mx/trails be all the bike i'll ever need?

thanks...
