We stay at the fish creek campground.

I always come up from the desert from the 395 it take about 3-4 hours from south OC. If you come in from the west, I've heard teh roads to Kernville are easy. from Kernville to Fish Creek- Troy meadows are not to difficult mountain roads and take about 1 hr by a non-towing car.

Of cousre 89er would make it in about 20 minutes...... Psyco :flame:

We'll your better pencil in dirtjunkie for this one. It's my favorite place doncha know! I'll be rolling up in my new/old trailer. Trading up from my 1972 kumfort to a 1986 prowler. WOW the new one has rubber tires, and their round. Geeze who can keep up with the technology?

From what I hear about the riding at KM you're gonna need a few practice rides at Miller Cyn first..... I hope I get this job in Torrance just so I can ride Miller Cyn with the infamous dirt drinking, DONUT eating Elkster :p

BTW-

Anyone that makes it to the beutiful city of Lynwood (South LA) can pick up some free firewood from the plant here.

Although when I was there last June, I had no problem rounding up wood.

Monday thru Friday, I am gone before dark :eek:

So when are most people planning on going?

I am available both weekends. Looks like I will be up without the wife & kids. Probably pitch a tent.

I'll probrably head up Wed the 2nd and come back Sun. I believe most of us usually go over the 4th so we get the extra free day off from work. Some die hards (read those with RV's) will stay all week. If your goal is to see the most DRNers I'd plan on the 4th. of July weekend. :thumb:
