CRF450R Y09 calls for KHL15-11 (KYB) oil,
not sure if this is 5wt or 10wt?

also is the top fork wrench (lock nut wrench) 48mm?
I used a 50mm and put tape on the outer edge to get the top off the forks. Not ideal, but it worked in a pinch. I am guessing its more like 48mm?

To take apart the inner cartridge it seems to need a 36mm (fork cap bolt) - where do you purchase this at?

All those MX bikes with the KYB twin chambers take 5wt

For the tools, check with your local bike shop. They may list them as parts for the Yamaha KYB forks. Motionpro makes a lot of tools for the job.

the forks are 48mm

thank you. I checked several shops and no one has the 48mm top wrench and the other 36mm fork cap no one seems to have. I was told to check out ZIPTy Racing.
