kick start problem

Hey guys, first of all I have a 2004 kx 250 four stroke. My kick start just wiggles on and wiggles off like there is not bolt on there. The end of the bolt is broken of but the shaft part of the bolt is still in there and this doesn't seem right because its starting to strip the kick start shaft and the kickstart threds it self, what do I do to fix this?

drill out the rest of the bolt and put in a new one so it closes tighter around the shaft
