I recently broke my kickstart on my KX-80 and I dont know what the problem is or how to fix it i dont really want to take it to a shop if i can fix it myself but when i go to kick start it the kickstart stops half way and no matter how hard i do it it just stops (A friend mentioned something about compression to the kickstart but idk i tried calling shops they just told me to bring them in eff that if i can do it myself) does anyone have any idea of what COULD be the problem and or how I should go about fixing it:?

When the kickstarter goes halfway down like you say, is the piston moving up or down, or does it feel like nothing is engaging? If the kickstarter is suspected of being broken and you think that the engine could be seized and it's an automatic gearbox, try removing the flywheel cover and put a socket on the flywheel nut to try and turn the engine over. If it doesn't turn then either your engine is seized or something in the gearing is jammed.

Today me and a friend we took off the fly wheel cover, and we got the kick start going with alittle oil. Then we started to push start it and we got alittle response ( it was trying to turn over) it wont turn over all the way. There is a clear little container under the seat what will that container hold? Would that have anything to do with the bike not turning over? (and uh it is possible to push start an automatic right? just dont wana be messing it up even more)

Ok. First, what year is it. Then, does this, 'container' lead to anything. What do you have the gas mixed at? Did it run before? It seems kind of weird, a auto KX80?
