I have read as much of the old posts as I can find on this subject and have a couple of questions:
1. I took off the exhaust and believe I see what everyone refers to opening up the head pipe. I am assuming that this head pipe referred to is on the exhaust pipe and is the approximatley 7/16" hole that is about 1/2" thick that goes right up against the cylinder head. Is this what everyone drills out? My hole appears to not be centered. Is there any particular method to doing this the best way? Suggestions?
2. Is the "washer in the pipe" the same thing?
3. Is the "stopper on the head pipe" the same thing as well?
4. What is a round airbox breather/filter plugs? I removed the snorkel, does anyone drill holes on the top of the airbox.
I figure fix the headpipe, rejet with a 85 main and a 40 pilot, remove the snorkle and maybe do something else with the airbox (tow brothers, holes, etc...) and the bike should be better. Any comments?
Thanks for the help.
