I have a new 110/100 knobby that I want to install on my KLX300. Does anyone know if this size tire will rub on the stock muffler? People have told me that it does not rub on their after market mufflers, but that doesn't apply in my case since I have the stock muffler. Stock size is 100/100.

I have a Michelin 130/80-18 on mine and it works great. I understand Michelin's are sized a bit differently (for some reason) and this is more like a 110/100. Somebody else said they ran 120/90 x18 and they were fine.

Thanks for the information. I just didn't want to waste my time mounting the tire and then find out that it wouldn't have enough clearance.

I have a Dunlop 737 110/100 18 with a stock muffler and there are no clearance problems. I don't know what you have for mod's but if you want MUCH improved acceleration cut 3 coils from the carb diaphragm spring. twist the throtle and hold on.
