Hi,

1st gear has been missing for a while and today the gearbox finaly went.

When you try and select a gear its as if its not actuall in gear but it locks the back wheel. Sometimes if u can get it into neutral it will push forward but then it will pop back into a gear. It can sometimes even drive forward sligthly but then will lock up.

Do you think this will just be the shift lever or could it be something more?

Just wanting to get all the facts before i have to split the bottom end :(

Well thank you both for the informative replys. i thought it was best to ask someone first as there may be a common fault with ktm gearbox other than just the shift arm. Although when asking the magic eightball this question it seemed to think that the outlook was not so good. So looks like i will have to split that bottom end.
