hi everyone. just want to say that I replaced the battery today and my electric starting problem seems to have now been solved :)
I want to thank everyone who chimed in and helped me out along the way during my process of getting this bike completely up and running :)
the battery i replaced it with is the stock battery. 1 last question though. when I went to dis-assemble the old battery in the bike, i disconnected the earth wire first(the 1 that goes into a metal part of the frame/sub frame) and once i went to disconnect/loosen the 8mm positive battery terminal/bolt with a ratchet and socket, it sparked a little bit...is that normal or something to worry about? and ive checked the main fuses and all are still fine....they would have been the 1st thing to blow yeah?
