I can't get my 550 to start, I have rebuilt the carb, replaced the piston and all top end, but the only time i got it to start was from when the float wasn't set right and gas poured out the over flow tube. Now that I have set it so gas don't over flow, i can't get it to kick over, what am i missing...

When we rebuilt my buddies 440 3 months ago, after about 3 hours of kicking we gave up and just bump started it. It took a GIANT and I mean mile long hill to bump start it, and it took a bit of throttle. Once it started for the first couple times it was easy as pie since.

Yeah, I bump started it once, and it ran good. But then hasn't ran since then, I prolly have to bump start it then let it sit at idle for a while. I hate trying to kick start that fn thing, its not even a right side kick for my good leg its the ol lefty..
