I have only been on the bike twice and once was the break in ride so I haven't had much seat time but this thing did scare the heck out of me several times. There was a section of track with lots of very small bumps (maybe 6" high, 30-40 of them) and every time I tried to blow through them on the gas the back would start swapping wildly. Where do I start with clicker adjustments?

Sounds to me like the rear end is 'packing'; i.e. not extending back between bumps and compressing further and further until you have no travel left. Try reducing the rebound damping first and see if that helps.
