KX 250 rear wheel

Hi all,
I cracked my rear hub on my 98 220 last year. I have tig welded it as a temp repair while searching for a deal on a rear wheel. I am looking at a 2002 rear wheel for a KX250 and am wondering if it will fit my KDX. I did a search and one thread said that it would bolt right on, another said the axle bolt would have to be modified and the kawasaki web site on the part diagram indicated a difference. Has anyone actually done this before?

i havent done it but the hubs are not the same (axles either)

if you find a good place to get rims let me know i need a front
