I have a 2000 KX 500 that will be used mostly for trail riding but I took it to a motocross park today and it felt real soft. I am 6'5", 275lbs. Is there a pretty standard set up for that weight and bike for each condition? I know I can change the, I guess compression and rebound, but not sure what to do for what. Compression is the top and rebound is the bottom, right? Supposedly, the suspension was set up for trail riding for a 285lb guy that I bought it from. He said it was worked on by someone around here.

Thanks for any help in advance!!!!!!

Jim

KYB forks : comp on bottom rebound on top . Turn the comp in if youd like it firmer .KYB shock : comp on top rebound on bottom . You can also put more preload on the spring by turning it down to compress it . HAVE FUN
