kx 85 wheels

can you put a 2002 kx100 rear wheel on a 2002 kx 85 and make it work. thanks i need to know

I don't think so because it's bigger so it'd run up into your rear fender.

Yes you can put the 85 wheel on your 100

I need bigger wheels so my boy can run his kx 85 in the 125 youth class. He has two of them. One will be for each class. I don't have the money to buy a new 100.

Double check the rules in your area. The wheelbase on the KX100 and the rest of the big wheeled 85's don't meet the minimum wheelbase requirements to be legal for the 125 class.

We just had this discussion about letting the big wheels run in the 125 class for harescrambles.


If the KX's are like the rest of the big wheel verisions of the 85's the swingarm is only about an 1 1/4" to 1 1/2" longer.
