Kx clutch or Tranny?

I was riding in at field 2day and when i got on tha pipe in 5th gear it kind of hesitated and the revs went up, its weird cause tha only gear it does it in is 5th. Do you think this is my gear or the clutch slipping. It also kind of bucks when it does it

sounds more like clutch going. it only happens in 5th because you have more leverage working against the motor. Every try pushing the bike in 1st? then try pushing in 4th. much easier to push in 4th...

when the gears or tranny are going you get clunks usualy followed by pieces blowing out the cases.

Actually i figured out whats its doin, it kicked it back down into 3rd gear and the revs go waaay up, so u think its still the clutch?

so your saying it goes 1-2-3-4-3? no that would not be a clutch problem. shift drum or forks? not put together correctly when somone split the case?

No it goes 1-2-3-4-5 hit powerband in 5th then back down 2 3rd

ya thats to do with your shift drum and possible worn shift forks and shafts. Try seeing if there are any metallic peices in your oil next time you drain it.
