kx/kdx special suspension settings??

hiya folks , ive just finished my kx/kdx special and havent had time to practice on it before a race coming up on sunday , can anyone give me a good starting point for the suspension settings ? the course will be a mix of forest type going with an mx track as part of the course .
the bike is a 2003 kx chasis with an 89 kdx motor , thanks in advance

Try more towards full soft on compression if you have not had it revalved.
