OK DRN members,

Let’s flex our muscle! If you want to oppose Boxer’s new wilderness bill, which will close 2.5 MILLION ACRES IN CALIFORNIA TO ALL OFF-ROAD TRAVEL OF ALL KINDS, please go sign this online petition. This is put out by the same people as the last one, but it has a slightly different focus. It seems they are doing different petitions for different areas in the proposed wilderness designations. Sort of the rifle approach, instead of diluting the efforts. A few county boards of supervisors are strongly opposing this land grab, and we want to give them all the ammunition they need. Please help. Thanks.

Tanks Tums. Did it a couple weeks ago. Got a nice letter back from Congressman Ken Calvert. He said he totally agreed with me and is doing everything possible to stop this.
