51 rear is on my 220 right now, and I love the low speed power in first gear. I had to cut the chain guide out to keep the chain from rubbing to hard.

The 51 sproket will need a 110 link chain.

The guid on my bike was new and I had to take 1/2 an inch or 1.25cm off the bottom slipper plate to keep the chain from rubbing it as it angles down more with a larger sproket. I tried 112 link chain and it was to long, it wouldn't tighten up in the adjuster range, so it was cut to 110, and that put the sproket real close to the guide.

I hope that helps!

Midwest Action Cycle

M.A.C. sells several different kits. You can purchase the front, rear sprockets, and a chain of your choice. I got a kit from them for $90.00. It included a 13 front a 50 aluminum rear, and a 112 link RK chain. It is quite a kit for the money. There number is 1-800-343-9065

Not sure if the kit is in their website but it is in their catalog on page 45 listed as a "racing kit" for $89.95. If you give them this info they will hook you right up. Good Luck ;)

I installed a 49t rear sprocket an a 13t with a 108 link DID O Ring x-ring chain, and the chain slack is like 25 mm to 30 mm, I think that the chain box said that this measure is OK. The bike manual says that the slack should be between 55-65mm. What problems can I get from this situation? And also to what size chain should I increase? Thank you , great forum.

I have a 13/49 set up on my bike right now,but have 110 link chain.
I'm in the 8th spot on my chain adjusters. When you sit on the bike is the chain tight..

Yes, when I sit the chain is tight. Also did you noticed any improvement with the larger sprocket, because the only chance I've had to test it was during an enduro which was mostly riding through a river(flat surface) , thank you

This is the only mod. I"ve done to the bike, and I weight 200pound with all the gear
