how do i know if its my ignition coil that is bad or my stator coil.. did ohm check on coil, i believe it to be out of range (although manual doesn't show a range)
For my '89 200 the ignition coil primary winding resistance should be 1.0 ohms +or- 15%, and the secondary winding should be 5.9 1000 ohms (the manual has a 'K' infront of the ohm symbol..so I'm assuming it means 1000). Hope this helps some.
