so I usually ride at the track at night, at night they take good care of it, water it nice etc etc. so last week I went riding in the morning. they didng bother watering the track because there was only like me and 3 other guys there. so the track was really slippery, like sandy dusty kinda stuff. I had a real hard time riding around and getting traction and was riding very slow considered to how I normally am. in these conditions to I want to put my weight on the front tire for grip? or keep it on the rear and the front end light?

You move your weight to where it is needed. If the front end is pushing or sliding out, you need to move forward to get it to grip better. If the rear is sliding out, you need to get your weight back for traction.

I see, I have a hard pack front tire which also probably didnt help. Its pretty much a soft pack track I need a different front tire. I sometimes have trouble when the track is nice and wet also.
