So I am sitting there at 10pm playing my 9th hand of Uno with my aunt Hildagard and I realize that this is worse than when my old roomate Jim and I would smoke bong hits and try to figure out which Golden Girl has the better bum. Anyhoo. I have been away from all of this long enough. I need help friends and motoheads. My bike broke and I didn't even care. It has been sitting in the garage with the shattered clutch laying next to it's lifeless engine. My wife is kicking me out. I am working nights for probably the next hundred to two hundred years. So basically I feel like my life is going down the crapper. Now, I know I have been away for a while and a lot of you either don't remember me, have forgotten me, or hate me, so this is a lot to ask. But cripes people, I need help here. I need some uplifting. Hell, Pred gives me a verbal kick in the petute on a dailey basis and a lot of you have given me good advice in the past. I guess I just need some comeradery and a maybe a laugh because ladies and gents, my life sucks bigfoot's booty!

Sorry to hear about all of your misfortune. don't think for a minute that you have been forgotten, or hated; simply not true.
You have freinds here from all over the world that are pulling for you, and I'll bet will bend over backwards to help you see the light at the end of the tunnel.
Hang tough, lean on us all you want. We can take it. :)

Well, I have been battling a hand injury but it seems to be better now. Of course I have not been riding so that may change when I do.

It's the winter blues fellas, I had them too until I rolled out the KLX and did a few donuts in the snow, I'm feeling like at least half a man now, could be better though, I mean I got decent grades which was good but my last real prospect for some female companionship just appears to have vanished :ugg:

t-33 as corny as it sounds. You gotta pick your $hit up. Life's too short to complain and be drug around by your neck. Even when life is kicking you in the arse you have got to kick it back. People always choose to believe things can only get worse but things also get better as well.

Every single freaking day of your life you get up is a NEW day, make the most of it. Don't let opportunities slip by you :thumb:

PS. Ill post here all damn week if I have to :)

Thanks CR. I know. I am not trying to be whiney about it all. But man, you just don't know. I could go into the whole thing and you would be like, "Dude, go get drunk" it has just been a bad several months. I can say that some of it has been my fault but most of it was just me being in one bad situation after another.

Thunder, I got to bug you and your friends a little at DW and I thought you were a great guy.

I'll jump on the corny bandwagon here with some tired old sayings; the whole silver lining thing really is true. You will find out later that you will have gained something from all of this. You might not know what it is yet, but someday you will.

Advice: GET BACK ON THE BIKE BUDDY!!! There is nothing that is better for the soul than riding, and it's a hell of a lot better than drinking (although that has its place).

FC22, I think you are thinking of Blue Thunder, who is a great guy. I was in the middle of this crap which was a major reason for not going to DW. That and Big Lou wouldn't let me ride with him because my bike was too dirty to go in his truck. My thing is this. I have spent my whole mothertruckin' adult life trying to be a good guy. Not a KDX220RM kind of good guy, but a genuine good guy. I have treated every woman that I have dated with nothing but respect....including my wife. And what do I get? A boot to the head! Why? Good guys finish last.

So, I am going to be getting back on the bike. I have some clutch work to do and some tires to buy. The Hurricane is looking about as tattered as Bob Hannah himself! I miss riding. At least my last ride was with GETMETOCA. I am just bummed that we didn't get to ride longer.

I have been looking for the silver lining....maybe too hard. Just not seeing it.

I feel bad though. Big Lou, Crash, and all of my buds on here, I am sorry that I fell off the earth for a while. And I think that I need to send Pred a check for about 100 hours of psychological services. For a guy who is afraid of Bigfoot, he has some insite! Now if he can just tell me why the aliens insist in giving ME the the probe! OUCH! :o

Thunder33 - I know you are going through a tough time, but all I can say is absence will give you the perspective you need to sort it all out!! you are an AWESOME DUDE!! And you are a blast to ride with too!! Man, you gotta get The Hurricane fixed up so you can ride some more. I think I would be freakin out too if it had been since September that I last rode. Heck, that was a lot of fun - heheheh! Remember we did'nt think BigLou was gonna take the bikes out of the truck because Kingsville was a little muddy that day??? LOL! Ah, but he's an alright kinda guy and came through. Nothing the power washer at Lights couldn't handle....

It is sad that he instilled Light's Car Wash into your head in that short of time. I think he gets kick backs from them in his Belton, Mo organized crime syndicate. Maybe I can come out there and ride with you next time. Of course, I might look a little funny on and XR250!

Sometimes your the windshield, Sometimes your the bug. If in fact you are truly a good guy, treating people right, (which Im not saying your not) your day will come.
I cant say I've been where you are, so my view may not be correct. When I had been in down times, I know it seems to take forever to turn around, but keep your eyes open for oppurtunities, be it either with your wife, your job or anything else that comes your way. Make changes and dont be afraid to try a new job if possible.
Get that bike running and have some fun, or just get out some agresions :aj:

Walt....that is funny you say that. I just changed jobs. Working nights is keeping me sane right now. Of course I go home now at midnight and stay up until 3-4am watching the Independent Film Channel.

FC22, nah, there are just too many thunders. Just remember that I am the one with all 10 toes and the Yellow Yamaha!

I rarely think "getting drunk" will solve anything or make anything better. Basically when you get drunk you lose control of your outer and inner being. That is one reason I won't get drunk, I want to be 100% FULLY in control of myself, if im drunk it's the simple things that you lose the abilty to do, like walking.

What the hell am I talking about? Im relating this to being in control, when you are sober you don't have to worry if you are walking in a straight line, you just do. Thus leading to taking control of your life, so I say the opposite, don't get drunk. Go have a protein shake and work out, get fit TAKE CHARGE! LOL!!

Seriously I have been in these slumps, and the weak grow weaker and the strong grow stronger.

Grow stronger buddy, this is your chance.

PS. About the bike, maybe it will be your sudden manifestation of the essence or meaning of something "ahem" your epiphany  Put it back together piece by piece and once again the beast shall rise :aj:

Kinda like CR said, you can't change anything in the past, but every day is a whole new begining. Focus on the things that are positive, and in abundance to you, friends, bike, riding conditions, job(I'm on nights too, and I say good, because as long as I "have" to work I might as well make as much money as I can), billions of people in the world don't have any these luxury's, and in fact have a lot less. Life is wayyy to short to feel in the dumps, buck up, and live life to the fullest every chance you get!!

Thunder-Suck it up man. Don't get down in the dumps when things are not going exactly right. Remember the saying -That which doesn't kill you only makes you stronger. I am a true believer that a person has control over all their action, how they percieve a situation, and the plans they make based on that perception. For instance you cannot say that someone is making you mad, sad, happy or any other emotion. You allow yourself to feel that way. Maybe you should read the book- 7 habit of highly effective people. Ok, didn't mean to get all Tony Robbins on you but remember be strong, be proud, and go out and ride. :thumb:

Hey man! I emailed you yesterday since I tried to call you all day Saturday. Busy signal. I was, uhm, working on the YZ. Not cleaning it... :o I was out at Summit, Donnell's and Shrouts. Spending money as usual. Yeah, I can't believe Nat remembers Lights car wash! Hot water, high pressure and lots o' soap.
You got my work number? Call me at work. 245-5829. I think we need to light a fire under that Hurricane ASAP. That's what I think. 50 degrees Saturday. Merwin is changed up a bit. I haven't ridden there since the weekend before DW. You can take the pumpkin if you want. We also need to get that basket replaced in old "Bob" (the Hurricane).

Gimme a kawll. We'll have some kawfee. We'll tawk. :thumb:

Once again, thank you to everyone! I feel bad for being away from here so long now that I see how much everyone cares. CR....I was kidding. I have been drunk all of one time in the last year and that was a total accident. But thanks for your words. Marlin is right. I need to quit whining and make the best of things. Things are already looking up for me.

I will still be looking for a place to live and all but at least I can have things to look forward to again! Thanks gang!
