OK! up to this point I have been able to justify every modification I've done to my 2003 250sx. I ride pretty much 99% woods.

Suspension revalve & springs - because I don't race MX
flywheel weight - so I can lug that thing in the tight trees
V-force 3 & power now - throttle response off idle
emig 22mm clamps - stability, stability, stability
PC pipe & silencer - revs to the moon
250exc piston & rings - makes the hit workable in the woods
IMS large tank - I can ride a race and not stop for gas
EE tall soft seat - Because I have a soft butt
Scotts Stablizer - to many rocks and roots in OK
Protection: pipe guard, rad guards, skid plate, clutch guard,
and hands guards - oz. of protection worth a lbs. of repair.

BUT, I have always wanted black rims - only justification I could come up with was - they make you look like you can ride really fast. Finally, I at least look like I can ride fast.

What you think?

I don't understand what you mean. As I ride they are angled slighly down, but I want bar up enough to take the impact of a tree.

They just look a little high in the picture. If you ever hit something hard enough to move them, you want them to move down.
