my dad picked up a beater 80 cc i am 13 years old and i would really like to learn how to ride a dirtbike.Unfortunatly my parents said i cant ride it in the street so i have to find a course to ride it.IF any one of u can help me find a course it would be very much appreciated just a course or or like some woods where i would not get arrested.

Where about in Ill.? Land Between the Lakes has a place called Turkey Bay OHV area. That is if you live in So. Ill.

Be sure and go to your User CP and update information relating to your location, type of riding, etc. After that grab a spot on the couch and tell us a bit about yourself.
We will do our best to hook you up with some fellow dirt bike enthusiasts. As ChopperDave said, what part of Illinois? We have many members scattered about the state, some of our finest members actually and many of them are Granddads like myself or have kids your age. I'm sure some will chime in.
Congratulations on the bike, your father did good getting you an older bike to learn on. Do you have gear? You will need a helmet, boots and gloves at the very least. Ask what jeans you can tear up, assuming you don't get riding pants right now.
Many of us here on the site learned at the same young tender age that you are. Enjoy!!! (grandpa voice on) Now, keep your grades up and your chores done, so your parents see that you are mature enough to balance your responsibilities with the things you enjoy! :nod: (grandpa voice off)
Get your dad to join as well so he can meet some of the folks on the site as I assume he will be driving you to ride your bike.
