I get oil in the air box and drips out of the drain hole.I also notice that when I change oil there seems to be alot less trans oil.Could the trans oil be getting over to the motor side causing it to blow out the vent hose thus going to the air box.If so is there a seal to prevent this and do I have to split the cases to fix.....I have a 05 crf250r.Thanks for any help :bang:

is it over filled with oil???
rings wore out -too much blow by ?-(air pressure blowing past the rings) causing too much crank case pressure-

There is a seal on the right end of the crankshaft that seperates the engine crankcase and the trans portion. It's a fairly common failure for it to start leaking.

The seal can be changed without splitting the cases. It's outlined very clearly in the Honda service manual.
