Looking for some tips on lowering a new RM 250, the bike is a little tall for a family member and would like to him set it up to fit a little better, any ideas or experience with this would be helpfull, ideas that do not include buying a new complete suspension would be the best. :)

Thanks Richard

richard;
dep'd on how much work u want to do/how much u need it lowered, but the firs tstep is to use a hacksaw blade/electric knife and slice the seat foam lower, as u would a cake.
more drastic is to lower the forks in the clamps, and to put shims in the rear shock. it has to be dissasembled for this, but this is the best way i know to lower a bike. eric gorr's book also explains how to do this, as well as hundreds of other "tricks"...: www.ericgorr.com
good luck. 8>]
