Matt's SX Results!

Had a great time - KTM does an awesome job creating a once in a lifetime experience for the kids (and Dads!)

Matt ended up with a 10th place finish. They had the kids doing both whoop sections and the second set just ate him up in the second practice. In the main, he got off to a top 5 start, but fell in the second set of whoops on the first lap.

He's already saying he wants to race the Anaheim Amateur SX next Sunday after round 3, but we'll see! There's a pic of him posted at www.pacesupercross.com in the photos section, San Diego.

Any families with pee-wees, the KTM race is a must. All the kids and families had a great experience.

It was great to watch Matt and all the peewees race in San Diego. Congrats on the great ride.

My son got to do something similar at the Costa Mesa Speedway with Yamaha PW50's. It certainly made this dad proud, so I know how ya feel, Dean.

Cograts to Matt & Dad. Hey Dad, do the riders get to keep the gear?

Yes, they get to keep the gear, number bib and hat along with a small KTM Jr. Challenge bag and T-shirt. They also got a sticker kit and a felt autograph sheet with the Jr. Challenge logos. I got a t-shirt, mechanics shirt and hat. They will also send him a savings bond with his certificate of participation. It's really an excellent program and was very well organized. Made it easy for us, we just had to show up at the right places at the right times. I couldn't believe how many people lined up for their autograph session too. The kids all loved it!
