Do a search for Spammy125, he really talked alot of smak to Rich so it's a small wonder he got spanked. You won't be able to read the thread but the teaser in the window is enough to understand why Rich got steamed.

I just read through all his(What Now) posts and my name came up as openminded and friendly? :think:

Thanks for the vote of confidence, to a degree I am and try to portray a lighthearted attitude. There are a few things that will set me off but for the most part I try to stay with the DRN theme and post accordingly. Since I don't know the guy from Adam I was just curious as to where he got his opinion of me. He may be a registered member for some time because his post was deleted and he wasn't banned. If that is the case, with the number of times I have posted here I had to have talked to him at least once.

Time will tell I guess :) :thumb:

There's nothing worse than to break your ass trying to figure our DSN's and Database passwords and getting all that PHP stuff to work and have some clown and upset the whole family.

Kinda a kick in the teeth, just bann the fool's IP range, this way he can't dialup and get a different IP and login again. Ban the Mask....IP Mask that is. like 192.168.0.* that'll stop him.

Some of this stuff is pretty funny actually. I just found out who Ford-PSD is. A recently banned XDB'r who was part of the three-amigo's crap that was in the flame forum. You guessed it, he is complaining, whining, crying and generally acting like a 2 yr old again.

and here I thought ole Rick was a sorta decent guy :)

This stuff happens all the time. You warn someone (usually a kid) about hitting the word censor and posting junk info, and then get bent. When you clip one of their idiotic posts they act like you just removed their kidney with a soup spoon.

We'll get a few more of these during the holidays when the kiddies are bored with surfing for free porn. It comes with the territory. We apprciate you guys giving us a heads up when we don't catch them quick enough.

The funny part is these guys act like they're the first ones to ever think of this :)

The really good ones were WAY back in the past .

Can't do that with AOL and MSN, but we have OTHER ways to deal with the trouble-makers. :p One of the advantages of having a site run by a hardcore computer guy :thumb:

Rich, for the record, I got to see some of what wen't on. IMHO you did the right thing. You've spanked me before and granted it hurt but, I needed it. Wake up's are needed and I needed one. That is only the second new screen name old poser, I have caught on too because he showed up a day later talking like he knew about what had been going on. All I need to do is reflect on the Nightmeare that Motofamily and a couple others that I have been involved with to remind me that there are people out there willing and wanting to be an A$$ and a compleat bone head on the boards to keep a close eye on the posts when I can and call out the idiots that think they are playing games.

Irish, I can direct you to the mans uh well the guys actual rantings and ravings if you'd like. I only know about it because I know him personally and I stumbled on an old e-mail account that apparently is getting the psuedo XDB stuff where half of them whine and cry about XDB's demise and then trash DRN and Okie.

Or I could direct you to visit with a few respected DRN'rs who were at a group ride in Chadwick MO earlier this year and got to witness some of his other rants.

Either way - Rick has lost any and all respect that I ever had for him. That actually takes a lot believe it or not.

feel free to e-mail me the info, it should be a good read, as for your personal views on the subject I will and take your word for it. There are many folks that I took pleasure in meeting out at LBL and you are one of them. Granted we didn't get to ride I drew a buch of enjoyment from you and Lou. The best part was when you figured out who I was :) . I am sure you were thinking," This guy is nothing like the boards!" About all I can say it was a ride to remember and I wouldn't have missed it for the world. Not to mention that you are a class act and I can't wait to BS and ride togeather again.

oooohhh maaan..now my mouth is watering. i love the pack attack thingy when one of the pack turns "feral".i gotta tell ya tho, i've seen even some hardend troops turn a lil shy when it's time to run one of the pack off, but i guess that why some are followers and some are leaders. the leaders keep the pack strong, the weak allow disruption.!ha! get some. remeber how irish got his back up when he thought i was threatening to "run him down" at lbl...tha's the spirit people. guess i'll make that chadwick a must see next year. :yeehaw:
