Well, fellas, to you guys that are tired of the mud, the race at Westphali was not muddy. track was a mix of good tacky dirt and a few rocks. The race course ran entirely the same as the 4 wheeler course and was wfo fast. The pros took off, then the A riders and the vets were on row 3. i didn't get the jump I wanted to but was 3rd in the 1st turn. i ran 3rd and 2nd between Steve crews and Wade hall. I let crews around for awhile to let him"spot" for me. he bobble and I went around but couldn't shake him. It was fun flying through the creek sections pinned in 2nd.
Doug stone won the overall with Steve Levain 5th. I ended up 2nd Vet with Slade Morlang winning the vet class and finishing 14th overall...not bad for a school teacher!
