I haven't had a problem w/MB as much I as get a sore tailbone after riding. I can't do the lube thing either. I was thinking about getting a gripped seat, but haven't yet. My seat has the smooth sides and we the 500 gets ahold of some dirt, it's tough to hang on. I try to stand-up as long as possible, but eventually fade.
Plus, from what I saw at the dealer and what others say, that KTM seat is harder than chinese arithmatic. Sell it and get you a classic mid-70's bike with 2' pillow seat..... :)
