im moving in to novice class and wondering what should i do to be competive. my 125(even with a modded motor) feels slow and i really really have to work to clear jumps and rail through corners.my friend has a kx250f for sale 06 for like 3500. or should i get a 450?

depends. the obvious step up from a 125 is a 250/450.

but if you want to stay in the same class then the 250f has more power.

i would get the 250. you wont get bored on that
