I thought Pichon was one of the hot shots. I got all ready to watch him beat everyone. Did we just catch him on a couple off weekends or what? For being the world champion he didnt do very well.

I would agree with the statements that RC and Stewart would beat those guys...but lapping them in about 3 or 4 laps??? I remember just a few years back, Everts came over and raced in the Unadilla national race. He didn't win, but he was right on pace with the leaders and finished 3rd or 4th, if I remember correctly in the 250 class. He certainly wasn't lapped by anyone. I wouldn't be so quick to imply that those guys are slow. True, maybe they're not as quick as our fastest guys, and the tracks over there are more open and less technical, but come on, they're still bloody good racers and pretty damn good at what they do! I'm as patriotic as the next guy, but I enjoyed watching those GP races and have a lot of respect for the racers in Europe. It's something different, the tracks looked fun to me and the guys appeared to be hauling the mail. Everything looks easy and slow from your livingroom, but from where I was sitting, I saw some dynamite corner speed from some of those guys. Yes, RC is faster than any of them, and I'm sure Everts, Pichon and Smets would readily admit that fact. My hat goes off to all those guys.

Pichon has lost the plot last few gps but as for his speed-he beat reed by just as big a margin as RC does-so we can only say the speed is right there-also on everts him and tortelli raced all year long tooth and nail(when tort could finish a season) and we all know how fast tort was when he first came over. What im trying to show is all these guys at the very front(smets/everts/pichon/reed/Rc) are similar in pace and i dont think RC would win every week if they all raced together. However bubba is something different-hes unreal- i watched the ride at budds and the only thing similar was torts ride from last to 2nd i think in the 250 nats a few years ago.

Nothing spices up a post quicker than FIM vs AMA.

As much as I hope the MX DesNations is finished as long as Dorna runs it, I would love to see Bubba on his 125 against Pichon and Everts.

Bubba can make faster laps on a 125 than RC on his 250, and RC has lost how many races in the last 3 years????? so what does all this prove??????

Also bubba may never better his rides on the 125-until he rides that 250 we will never know-a 250 is a very different animal than a 125-i hope he doesnt get injured on it as i like to watch him ride. Most riders look like they are in slow motion compared to him.

How many times has Bubba had a faster best lap than RC?  Correct me if I am wrong, but it was ONCE, and by less than a second.   They race for 30 minutes + 2 laps.  So until the races are 1 lap long, best lap and $1.50 might get you a cup of coffee.

Bubba is a phenom, but until RC is dethroned on the track, RC is the best. He's dominated the premier class in MX and SX for years - that's enough evidence for me.
