Well...I am in the process of my first clutch replacement on my 2001 yz125. I have just put in new friction plates and springs, and I just put the clutch cover on and the axle push lever gear is seated properly( i think). But when i move the lever it is not doing anything. From what i understand the push rod lever pulls the push rod and engages the clutch, am I right? Also I noticed the push rod has quiet a bit of play, but i think that is normal, right?

Any tips would be appreciated!

the outside arm is pulled by the cable-
the inside plunger is pushed in and releses the pressure plate so the plates will move freely-
you might just need to re adjust cable- it appears to be a non adjustable style case/clutch arm assembly-
unless you didn't put in enough plates???
