Well New Year's Eve was wild, but when my hubby and I got the call the next morning at 7am from his bro-in-law seeing if we wanted to ride at Clear Creek, we packed up our hungover selves and headed out anyway! ;)
It was SO much fun!! It was a quite the trek all the way from San Jose, but well worth it. It was a gorgeous day and even though it was pretty muddy it was still a great time.
We drove in to Indian Hill (after we used our tow strap and 4-wheel drive to help a friend out of a tight spot on the main road) and unloaded the bikes. We warmed up and the guys charged Indian Hill a few times no problem. I on the other hand being totally green on a dirtbike decided to motor around the lower portion of Indian Hill for a while and get used to my new TTR-125L, as well as the mud. Did pretty good I think - I practiced while the boys went on some trails - started moving through my gears and using my clutch no problem. Dropped the bike a few times and each time was so thankful to my honey for the fact my first bike is only about 172 pounds!! :)
Whew I was tired after a few hours of riding around Indian Hill and on one small trail with the boys, but I started to feel like I was getting the hang of it. I even attempted Indian Hill, which although a bit much at the end of my day - I still plan on conquering next time!!
Anyhow, it was a lot of fun and I just love dirtbiking and my TTR even more now!! Can't wait to go again!!
