My "new to me" motard ride

Yep, I've joined the ranks of motarders with a cherry (silver) '03 Yamaha FZ1 (1000cc). Damn, you know, it has a 5.5" rear rim and the whole bike didn't cost much more than my KX125. :coocoo:

Now I don't have to tow my bike 100 miles everytime I want to go for a short ride, plus, I can get more riding time on two wheels so I can improve my corning speed (and I need much help with speed everywhere). I took my KX to Glen Helen last weekend and think I noticed an improvement in cornering, except my 125 seems underpowered now :uh: and I found myself a gear too high at times.

Maybe I'll put a knobby on the back and come out for dual sport rides. Watch out for roost! :laugh:
