My '01 CR250 loses coolant everytime I ride. This bike historically never overheated or lost coolant in the past. This all started after a major engine seizure end of last season.

I've inspected all hoses and the radiators for leaks. I replaced the top end thinking maybe the head gasket was leaking. I replaced the water pump seals and bearings.

What else is there? Could the head be warped? Could the cylinder have a small crack in it. Anyway to test for this before replace high $$ engine components?

Other clues: the old piston had two spots of very light tan color on the top front (exhaust). Usually its a more even colored darker brown.

Thanks for any help!

Have you tried replacing the radiator cap? If it opens at low pressure, you will loose coolant through the overflow tube...
