I own a 2002 CR250. I'm 5'7" tall and weigh 180lbs. My forks are raised to the grooved line and my sag is set to 100mm.
My bike does turn pretty tight but I've heard about the benefits of these 20mm offset triple clamps (tighter turning & increased stability at higher speeds). We got some pretty tight ass (1st gear w/ 13/51T ) trails where I could use tighter turning capabilities. And having the stability at the MX track couldn't hurt.
Anyone ever tried these on a CR125/250? I've heard good things on the CR450F.
Also, I'm thinking about ordering the clamps that move the bars foward and up. I have Twinwalls (Windham bend). When I'm sitting up near the tank and turning, it kind of feels cramped. Anyone else with me on this?
How does moving the bars closer to the forks affect handling? Better or worse?
